I cast on 41, per pattern. This seems larger than necessary, so next time I’d use 33.

Examples 2 and 3 - cast on 33, do center repeat twice instead of three times. Repeat rows 5-16 twice instead of three times. Five garter rows to end instead of four. 21 g each; 7” x 6.5”
