when I took my measurements I basically determined that I wanted the front and back pieces to be 28 inches long each (56 inches total) and I got about that when I did 80 sc foundation sts. I totally should have started with an odd number though so the third row would finish right.
So I found this counter app that I find especially helpful for long starting chains. I uploaded a screen shot so you could find the same one if you’d like.

I did 20 rows then 10 rows with a dc2tog on each end then another 5.

I wanted to have regular shoulder seams so I skipped 8 stitches on either side for the last 14 rows. The neckline of the front was worked in to panels so the it would be open. The back was mostly one but for the last four rows I split it so that it would have a little shape in the back. It took almost exactly 6 skeins to make the front and back, two left for the sleeves.

I’m really not following the pattern very much at all but I like the instructions because they’re I good reference or starting place to make the sweater however you feel like. I hope another time (when I have more yarn lol) I’ll follow the pattern better because it’s supa cute!!

I only got 23 rows on the sleeve done with 1 skein :(

Uggghhhh the measurements are wrong. I have to messily see the sides in so they won’t look so darn awkward
