Cast on first block last night!

10/17/11 Knit up 12 squares, finished the stash yarn so I guess I’m done. Need to sew up (argh)

Finally got to sewing it - actually crocheted the blocks together since I only had the cream colored yarn left for finishing. Then crocheted a border. My son says he loves it, sweet boy. The twelve blocks made a 4x3 rectangular blanket, with three contrasting blocks in black/oatmeal, red/oatmeal, oatmeal/navy. I’m really proud of my first large blanket - on to a fisherman’s cable next?
