This was a very pleasurable knit! It went very quickly which was good because I wanted to finish in time for my Sister-in-law’s 60th birthday on February 5th. It was also relaxing to not have to worry too much about fit. I just trusted my gauge and didn’t even try it on until it was too late to do anything about it lol! It all worked out and fit perfectly. I used the German twist cast on and follow the pattern as written for the most part. Even though this is a very stretch cast on and it looks beautiful, I would have liked the edge to be a little more stretchy. I tend to be a tight knitter so it may be just me. I love the German short rows and I especially love the tutorial by Mimi Kezer! I sized up to a 9 for the color work.
It makes a great gift and I’m already thinking about the next one!
