Notes

I love this pattern!
I love thinking about the colors and figuring out how to have enough yarn in each color to do the sleeves. I love the fit and how it starts flat and then joins in the round. I love the excitement of moving from one color to another. It was pure pleasure!
I followed the pattern as written with just some added waist and hip shaping. The only thing I would do differently is to make it slightly smaller at the hips. I went a little overboard with the hip increases and it just needs to anchor a bit more to my hips but thats a small thing.
The Mrs. Crosby Satchel was a wonderful find! The colors faded beautifully and had lovely stitch definition. Chelsea Yarns in Red Bank, NJ had a trunk show of Mrs. Crosby yarn and I was able to meet Amanda Jarvis, the owner of Lorna’s Laces and Mrs Crosby Yarns. She came right over and started saying all the names of the yarn that I used in my sweater. The second photo is a picture of the two of us. Of course I had to pick up couple of other Mrs. Crosby yarns to try out!
