• CO 104, size 6 needle for 1 3/4” twisted rib
• Did not change to size 7 (per pattern)
• Cabled entire hat in size 6
• Just before the decreases, worked rows 1-6 (instead of 1-5 per pattern) to keep the cable pattern even
• At the decreases (round 7) since I CO addt’l stiches the stitch count was off. I had 13 repeats instead of 12. The rounds ended this way:

Round 7 - SSK, K2, K2tog, P1 = down to 77 stitches
Round 8- K4, P1 = 65 stitches
Round 9 - SSK, K2tog, P1 = 51 stitches
Round 10 - K2, P1 = 39 stitches
Round 11 - K2tog, P1 = 32 stitches
Round 12 - K1, P1 = 26 stitches
Round 13 - K2tog all around = 13 stitches
Round 14 - K2tog around to last 3, K3tog = 6 stitches
