Notes

The beginning of this pattern uses Christa Veenstra’s design Crochet Peacock Feather “Java” Motif which is a pattern for purchase. My instructions are free but will not due you any good unless you purchase her design first. Please do not ask me to share her design as this is asking me to break the law by sharing copyrighted materials.

Peacock Feather Afghan

Individual feather measurements of rows 1-6 before trimming is 7 inches long by 5.5 inches wide

(I did not keep a gauge on the original afghan as it is a matter of preference so if you want a tighter weave use a smaller hook if you prefer a loose weave use a larger hook.)

Materials:
#4 Yarn
Red Heart Super Saver 7 oz skeins

1 Black, 1 Amethyst, 1 Turqua, 1 Gold, 1 Tea Leaf, 2 Real Teal
(the original green I used was Caron Leaf Green but I did find an equivalet shade of green in red heart called tea leaf so I updated the colors to all Red Heart Super Saver Colors, the sample in progress also shows one with a red center that color is RHSS Mulberry if you like it better)
