Notes

So this is the cardigan-version of this pattern.

I couldn’t figure out a good reason no to knit the button band on whilst also knitting the body, so I added an extra 10 stitches to each edge. Granted, I’m not knitting it at a smaller gauge and I suspect I’ll have some issues with buttonhole placement, but I don’t care. lol I hate button band sewing.

Additionally, I think I may try to use Chart C for the entire length of the yoke instead of the chart given for that area-- I don’t like the non-even transitions of charts A and B… so this is sort of an experiment. Compounding this is the fact that the yarn I’m using is in shorter skeins than those suggested… so I may have to do more, shorter transitions to cover the proper number of rows.

So I’m mainly using this pattern as a jumping-off point. <3

Made a lot of changes to this pattern. I used a modified version of chart C for the yoke, but I started the colorwork before the start point in the original pattern. I added more colors, and a few extra decreases on the yoke itself.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the result!
