I really like this pattern-- I fell in love with it the moment I saw it. That said, I was concerned about how demanding the cables would be. Ultimately, this pattern ended up being quite simple. Very repetitive but the cables keep it very interesting. I find charted knits like this much like potato chips; I always want just one more row.

Ugh. This project took so damn long because I kept interrupting it. I made my belly dance teacher an entire knit outfit whilst this was still on needles, hence the ridiculous time it took to complete it.

I am unsure about the border-- why not finish it in garter stitch? Seems a bit odd to me. But I still like it. I ended up shortening said border as I just couldn’t stand knitting that much stockinette stitch anymore.
