Picked up stitches around front and collar: 257

Half way through picking up the stitches, I feel a little tug and the neddle comes off in my hand and I realize the cable broke and I now have about 20 live stitches! I found a DPN in my bag, switched the live stitches to those and quickly bought a new pair of addi lace of the right size. I then had to transfer all the stitches to the new needle and continue. By the time I was done, I had been at it for 3.5 hours!

I was hoping to finish the sleeves today but I had too many errands and ended up only getting to the beginning of the ribbing.

22.5g of yarn left in each ball at the beginning of the rib

I finished the cardigan two days ago and wore it for the first time today. I’m so plased with both the fit and the drape. will definitely make another one in the near future!
