I’m finally getting around to finishing/posting this project. It hibernated most of last year. It was made for the mother of my daughter’s friend and classmate, who died with his good friend on the Oregon coast during a student retreat in Feb 2011…RIP Jack and Connor… Knit in deep purple (color is more true in photo with charm and on orange sofa) in honor of the school’s color. Six charms were added to scalloped edge. I later found out in a moment of synchronicity that the day I completed the shawl it was Jack’s birthday.
