Using garter stitch instead of seed stitch for bottom edges and sides.
It got confusing going back & forth between the different patterns & line counts, so I used a spreadsheet with scarf rows down the left side & a column across the top for each pattern (see photo); used highlighter tape across all patterns row by row to avoid confusion.
10/28/14: Got the first repeat done.
10/31/14: 1st pattern side done.
11/3/14: 1st repeat of second side done.
11/10/14: After blocking pattern sides are 7” wide x 21” long, not including the ribbed neck section.
