I made several of these little guys as well as:
Rebecca Danger’s Chubby Chirps & Bunny Nuggets & a monster chunk (http://www.ravelry.com/designers/rebecca-danger). These are for charity for children of all ages so the faces will be minimal & I don’t think I will put pompom tails on the Bunny Nuggets so there is no chance of choking. I may use some scraps of bulky yarn and/or double worsted weight to make some larger critters.
These patterns are very simple, easy and knit up quickly. They are fun to make and really adorable.

6/16/14: Used non-toxic puffy fabric paints for the faces. Very pleased with results!!
