I used mostly Patons wool merino in this but also a color or two of Lion Brand Wool ease. This probably didn’t take more than 1 skein of total yarn but of course it took many colors so I have a lot of yarn left over from this project. I am a fairly new knitter and to practice I was knitting the cowls (I love cowls!) from the Cowl Girls books. This was my favorite one in the book but I was afraid to try it as I thought Fair Isle would be difficult . Turns out this was super easy and now I can’t wait to do more Fair Isle.
