I am now on Straun, Take 2. I have actually measured John’s head, and he needs a 24 in circumference. I have also done a small gauge swatch with the Alpca I will be using. It is thicker than the WOTA I used for Take 1. I am using the same needle size, and I didn’t think changing pattern size, yarn size, AND needle size, was a good idea, so we will see. I will stop after the crown and see how it compares to Take 1, since I still have it on hand.
