I shortened the hat a bit in order to fit a newborn without having to roll the brim, which hides the lacework.

I worked as written through the first lace section and garter ridge. I then worked 6 rows of lace instead of 10. The next garter section and the decreases were worked as written down to 8 stitches. K2tog around, and I used those 4 stitches to make an Icord loop.

Very quick and cute. May make some in cotton also as its hot here through December sometimes.
