Notes

Last photo is accurate color wise.

6/19First sock completed. Yesterday I knit only 10 rows, and today the 18 rows of the toe. I’m going to take a break for 3 days to rest my wrist and hope,I get some sensation back.

CO post to SKA & Solid Socks June threads.

Challenge: Literary
The pattern is inspired by The Goose Girl, a German fairy tale published by Brothers Grimm. Wiki article

Pattern: Die Gansemagd
Cast on: June 14, 2014
Yarn: Premier Yarns Serenity Sock Weight Solids charcoal colorway
Needles: 2.25mm Heavy Metals

I tried to use a knitted CO, but found it much tighter than my LTCO. I need to practice the knit one, since I do like the way to looks.

I would like to add a little more length to the leg, but I think another 24 rows is too long at this gauge. I’ll remember next time to CO and knit the cuff on 2.5mm, and I should be fine with the extra repeat. I did work a 16 row cuff v. 12 rows per pattern. Helloooo…next time I will knit the leg as long as I like and then continue the heel in pattern. I don’t need no stinkin heel chart!
