I chose Hearland acrylic because I wasn’t sure how much I would love making these monkeys, and used yarn on hand. It was a bit fiddly, and at made more difficult by the pattern not stating clearly which cast-on was used, and in some instances this affected the look of the item or the ease of attachment.

I think I’ll be much more pleased with the next monkey, which I will make with wool. OTOH, it won’t matter if this one gets dirty.

I gave this project a medium difficulty rating because it does require a lot of seaming. Being a predominantly shawl and sock knitter, I had to really up my seaming game. It’s definitely a skill to make it look professional, much more difficult than Kitchener for me.
