Notes

** Joining Ends** I wasn’t entirely pleased with how my intersections looked when I joined strips to each other. I couldn’t see how to make it better. I was overthinking.

Helen Shrimpton has a very clear photo tutorial in the Dream Weaver pattern that produces an elegant joining point. I’ll know next time!

Since I’ve been BANNED from buying more yarn, I’m using 12 colors of Heartland. It’ll be fab anyway purple_heartpurple_heartpurple_heartpurple_heart

Sitting idly with one border round completed. I need 1 more ball of Red Heart Soft in Wheat…need to make a Michaels run since JoAnn is still out.

Worked the join with a 6.0mm. I would have used a 6.5mm if I had one in Clover Amour. My Boye 6.5 has more grab, so the stitches were too tight.

Worked the border with a 5.5mm since my hdc are so loose. I worked the last row of the border in sc. The hdc gave me too much room between the faux ss, and it just didn’t look right.

3/7/17 Finished - need to wash and maybe lightly block.
