Notes

Worked FLK heel and toe.

41.6 gm and 43.3 gm Sight difference is because my right foot is a tad smaller and I knit it to fit this time.

Although I didn’t bother with it, the ribbing could easily be charted to flow into the cabled design. I will probably give them to Scott and the cuffs will never show. This is also why I ribbed the back of the leg, since his legs are so thin. If I make a pair for me, I will put a pair of small cables down the back against a stocking panel and work the instep plain so it fits in a shoe better. And also modify the rib to flow into the pattern.

My other grey cabled socks are a bit too long, and I don’t want to take the toes out until after C visits. They may fit her, and I’d like a good idea of what fits her best anyway.

I found this wool marked down to $1.50/ball. I think because there were only 2 balls left and the dye lots were different. As if dye lot matters with Kroy. It looks totally different knit up. From just a few feet away it looks like a very rich solid grey v. A speckled grey/brown/blue mix. Loving it!
