This project originally called for a size 1.30mm hook and size 10 cotton thread. And a 2in diameter foam ball for the head.

I personally did not want to crochet with a size 1.30mm hook so I edited the project slightly and I still got the same result.

I first changed the hook size to a size D 3.25mm and I used regular yarn (listed above). And I did not use the foam ball for the head, I just used regular stuffing.

Below are just notes of how I edited the project:

1. The hair: I just measure 30inch strands, then braided the hair, then cut/tie it off at the appropriate length.

2. The legs: I made a magic ring of 10 then I did 2dc in each sc-1 round (20dc). For 2nd round I did a sl st in sc then ch3 (counts as dc) then dc in same chain, then next 9sc have 2dc in each ch. I only did 55 round for the legs instead of the required 60 rounds

3. The arms: I made a magic ring of 8 the for the 2nd round I did 2s in each sc(total 16sc)

Crochet 9round of 16 then do the decrease 3 st thing according to pattern. Then when it ask you to increase again do it by crocheting 3sc then in 4th sc inc by 2sc within.

1. The hat: The ribbon I used for the bows on the hat is size 5/8in x 9ft. The black edging of the hat and to tie off the hair I used sateen ribbon size 1/4 inch. I used 4 glass pears size 8mm and I hot glued them to the bows to give it a clean look.

To stiffen the hat I bought a 8FL OZ of Aleene’s Stiffen Quick at Joanne’s to help shape the hat nicely

1. Other notes: I used 1 1/2inch black velvet around the dolls waist and for the eyes I uses 2 size 9mm.
