Helping Anne-Lise add size 3XL to her new tee
Working yoke as per 2XL until yoke increases.
I checked upper arm measurement and 2XL is fine, so kept to the 2XL increases for the sleeves (9 each side) increasing 1 st every 7th st, using M1, ktbl.
Front and back increases were adjusted from 2XL (18 sts) to 27 sts each. Increased every 3 rd st 27 times.
Stitches before sleeve separation (orig +inc)
Back. 90 + 27
Front 90 + 27
Sleeve1. 63+9
Sleeve2 63+9
Total 378 sts. = 42 stitch pattern repeats of chart E
Modification I made for two colour version, after D, before E ( rounds 56 to 60 )
Last round of purl in CC1
Next round in CC2 knit,
Next row in CC2 purl,
Next round CC1 knit,
Next round Cc1 purl.
( three additions rows in the yoke)
Changed to 4mm needles …. (Note to self don’t do this until after sleeve separation on next glowtee)
Knit 4 repeats of chart E ( less one round )
Go to sleeve separation
Left 72 sts on needles.
Cable cast on 36 sts for the under arms.
Completed the body, to old lady crop length.
7 repeats of chart E, move to F.
Modification for two colour: last round of F change to CC2. Break CC1 yarn, leaving enough tail to weave in ends
Complete chart G in CC2.
Sleeves:
Complete chart E 4 times
Move to F. Complete F&G as per pattern.
Finally an Vee neck that is knit in the round.
