This double-pointed, twin-tasselled scart, or hat/scarf combo, has quite a simple shape with slightly complex entarsia flame motifs around the crown and along the scarf ends.

I’ve done something a little different with the front of this scart too… the edge around the face dips up over each eye and down a little over the nose. It’s not actually a widows peak, rather just a slight flowing curve which I think is quite flattering to the face.

The scarf ends’ fringes are added in bunches of colour, which match the part of the flame motif they come from. So from one side to the other, they go from black through red, orange and yellow and back to black.

The black, red and orange Medley worked really well as an edging. I love the way it ties all the colours in the hat together.
