This beautiful piece was made as a commission. It was inspired by flames- its owner loved my Flame Fetish cape and I suggested doing something a little different… the cape shades from black around the body to burgundy, red, orange, yellow, with vibrant purple highlights.

It fastens at the front and there are buttons which can be fastened around the arms to allow it to be worn as a coat. But I like the way it looks with one side thrown up over a shoulder…

It is heavily beaded with sead beads (reminiscent of sparks shooting up into a night sky) and seven, purpose-made, lampworked beads appear around the base of the cape.
