Northern hemisphere fairies would be as out of place in the Australian environment as cats or canetoads. But I don’t see why Australia shouldn’t have it’s own indigenous fairies. And obviously, they’d want to blend in with their surroundings. So perhaps those exquisite, fleeting little flashes of blue which I catch from the corner of my eye now and again aren’t all just superb fairy wrens, some may actually be wren fairies mimicking the wildlife!

This garment is a totally new and unique design. It is neither cape, nor capelet, nor shrug, nor vest, nor jacket, but includes aspects of each. Therefore it has it’s own name to more accurately describe it; a “wingwrap”. The name stems from the garment’s wings and their ability to be wrapped around the wearer, buttoned up in front, along the arms as sleeves or to fly free in many different styles.
