Trying some interesting texture on this one. Loving it so far.

Took a little bit of aggressive blocking, but since I use a larger hook anyway, there was a lot of stretch and give.

This is now my FAVORITE way to do pineapples. I have been trying for years to come up with an interesting and textured look that also maintains the true nature of the motif and I think I’ve done it. The texture really lends itself to the natural beauty of pineapples, and also how wide they turned out.

I’m also completely in love with the flowery center I came up with. My husband gets the heebie-jeebies looking at it, but I adore it.
