This blanket started at the beginning of my journey crocheting, and wow what an amazing year it has been. I have learned so much, with the help of so many amazing people.
I actually started in the Moogly Cal, and was a little lost on ravelry, and somehow ended up in the Bam Cal group.
Combination of 24 different squares, with most of them being Bam Cal monthly squares, and a few moogly cal squares.
I had a lot of work fixing up some of my original squares that were pretty wonky. Almost every square needed something done to it, or at least a round or 2 added to bring to size.

Equalized all of the squares with a row of single crochet in pink. 41 on each side plus 3sc in each corner.

Added a round of half double crochet in dusty blue. 43 half double crochets on each side plus 2 half doubles ch.2 2 half doubles in each corner.

Joined using the granny square jaygo. Used the tutorial from mugginsquilts.

It took almost 4 rolls of Vanna’s Choice yarn in linen to join 24 squares.

Used the “All Shawl” border with some mods to make it work on the blanket.
It took forever to do the border, but that was only because I had a million other things going on. My kids were home from college and made 3 scarfs, plus new semester at school started.

Even though I did make some modifications the border curled a bit and didn’t lay quite flat. Steam blocking should fix that.
