Colors on closeups are much closer to true colors.

I am taking a little break from blankets and going to work on some smaller projects. I thought I would go through my Vanna’s Choice yarn and see what I had. Well, I found somewhere around 50 different colors (all full skeins with a few duplicates).

I went through colors over and over trying to come up with the perfect colors, then decided, to divide up my colors and go from there.

I divided them up and pulled out all of the fall type and less bright colors (such as olive, honey, brick, navy, etc.) and use those for this poncho and the brighter colors (mustard, terracotta, aqua, aquamarine, kelly, eggplant,ect.) and use those for a different poncho. That will use up at least half of the colors and leave me with lots of browns, greys, tweeds, etc., for a later project… Sorry, so much info as to what brought me to this project.

I will list colors as I use them, just trying to pick next color that seems to work and go from there. Used beige as my main color, which I did go buy 5 skeins, and then found that I already had 3 skeins of it, oh well.. excuse to make something else…….
