I am making the Small/Medium size. Starting with 96 FDC. Found a lot of great videos on this stitch (1st time using it) and really like it.

My first time working with this yarn, and while the color is just gorgeous, it is not the easiest yarn to work with.
With that being said, it is very forgiving. Plus, once you make it past the first couple of rows, it really picks up in speed and ease.

The more I crochet, the more I fall in love with the yarn and the pattern. The two were made for each other.

The only thing I am a bit concerned about is when I added the second row of yarn. My first row ended in the middle of a purple section and both sides of my other row are on grey. Hopefully since this is color changing it won’t be too noticeable. I ordered the yarn online, so I couldn’t pick out the skeins I received.

Main part of poncho is done, just need to work on border and neck edge.. So far, so good.

Love the bottom mesh dangle edge. Really adds to the poncho! Just to do the neck edge and all done.

Finished the neck edge, did 4 rows of single crochet.

I did steam block the mesh edge to open it up a bit. Really surprised at how nicely this yarn blocks.

One of my favorite projects ever! Pattern is super easy to follow, and the result, especially with this yarn is just beautiful.
