Update: Turns out Tommy fits this when he is about 7 - 8 weeks old. He is a big boy! :-)

I changed the pattern b/c the yarn was rich with variations. The variation is beautiful, but ate up the tiny purl stitch pattern. I like these little chain looking drop stitch thingy that I made up. It’s very interesting looking and shows well.

When knitting in round:
Round 1: Knit
Round 2: Purl 1, slip 1 wyif repeat across round
Round 3: Knit
Round 4: Slip 1 wyif, purl 1 repeat across round
Round 5: Knit
Round 6: Knit

These pewter buttons were reproduced to historical accuracy circa War of 1812. V and I bought them at the fair during Defender’s Day reenactment. Hopefully Tommy can wear this sweater when he is about 3 month old!
