V and I are expecting baby Tommy this December!

So, this bonnet is actually for my friend Lynn’s baby, Anna, who is going to be about a month older than Tommy.

I knitted a lot of outfits for Tommy already. I don’t know why but all my designs happened to incorporate a lot of buttons - even this little bonnet has buttons too - but I hate sewing on buttons. So they are waiting for my mother’s arrival, who will patiently sew them on for Tommy’s sake. I only finished this bonnet b/c we are visiting Lynn and Tim this weekend, so I had to bite the bullet and just sew the buttons on myself. I look forward to seeing Anna wearing wearing it!

Despite my initial bias, knitting for a boy is not as boring as I anticipated. I couldn’t accessorize as much but the form is still cute. I can’t wait to post them :-)
