This blanket is 12 x 10 rows of 4 row granny squares. It is joined by the join as you go method. The square is two rounds of dark yarns and then two rounds of light yarns finished with the black yarn. The border is a simple double crochet border followed by single crochets. It is easily the largest crochet blanket I have ever made. I used the granny square pattern that my Grandma’s taught me, ages ago.
