Started this cropped summer cardigan a while ago and finally finished it. It’s actually a quick knit and the only reason why I hadn’t finished it until recently was because we were on holidays). This cardigan goes well with summer dresses or tunics and looks very flattering.

Since it’s worsted weight it will keep me warm in spring, chilly summer days and autumn.

Added a grosgrain ribbon to the wrong side of cardigan where the buttons are sewn on to give the button band more stability.

Mods:

• cast on for size small (34) and then increasing for bust size medium (38)

• worked decrease row for sleeves as follows: k1, k2tog, k to last 3 sts, ssk, k1

• worked the decrease row once on row 1, then every 18th row 2 more times, then once again after another 12 rows. After last decrease knitted 15 rows (total of 65 rows) before starting with lace edging and hem.
