I decided to make turn my SnowFlower Sweater into a dress.
I will wear it to a wedding of friends in January.

The pattern is written very clearly. I made it a three colour version.

I used a total 5 skeins of DRN Gilliat as MC. There were only about 10 cm of MC left after casting off. If I’d made a sweater version, I think 3 skeins of MC would have been enough.

Mods:

  • Waist shaping: decreases as instructed in the pattern (only optional), increased a total of 8 times to get proper width for the dress to fall nicely over hips.
  • knitted the body longer in order to get dress length
  • longer sleeves as usual
