Cuff: Using CC and US 7/4.5 mm needles, co 52, 12 rows linen st, 5 st button hole on 7th row, row 13 k all sts, bind off 10 st buttonhole tab, 42 sts on needles

Mitt: Switch to MC and US 5/3.75 mm, k5, p1 x 7 for 20 rounds. Add thumb gusset around center st of 4th rib, inc every 4th round, over 28 rounds (7 increases total) On the same round as the beginning of the thumb gusset, discontinue ribbing on palm of mitt.

Place 15 sts on stitch holder, k2tog the 2 sts mirroring the thumbhole to replace center st of the 4th rib. K 9 more rounds.

Switch to CC, k all sts. Work 6 rounds of linen st, bo purlwise.
