I thought that it would be fun to use this pattern to knit up single skeins of sock yarn and alternate the MC for each sock. That way the socks would be obviously a pair, but not quite the same.

Changed the construction to top down and the stitch counts and needle size so that they fit me.

CO 60 sts.
K2, p2 ribbing for 4 cm.
Switch colours.
Knit 12 cm plain.
Gusset inc 8x (15 rounds).
Switch colours.
Gusset inc 2x (5 rounds).
Make short row heel.
Gusset dec 2x (5 rounds).
Switch colours.
Gusset dec 8x (15 rounds).
Knit 11 cm plain.
Switch colours.
K 1 cm plain.
Make a round toe.
