Loved this pattern but I did make some modifications. I wrote these notes for myself so I hope they make sense lol!!

Co 60 on size 19 straight needles for the two triangles. Followed the pattern instructions including starting the herringbone with a pearl side.

For the cowl I used part of the Lion Brand District 12 pattern. Here’s my specifics:

Cast on 80 on size 15 circulars. Joined in the round.
Round 1-6 purl
Round 7-9 knit
Round 10 knit with an increase every 8 stitches. At end of round stitch count of 90.
Repeat rounds 1-10 again but on row 10 increase every 9 stitches instead of 8. Should have 100 stitch count.
Repeat rounds 1-6 again.
Knit next row.
Next row knit with an increase every 10 stitches. 110 stitch count.

Switched to a size 17 circular. Start herringbone pattern in the round for 9 rows. Cast off.

Blocked the two triangles but not the cowl. Sewed the pieces together with a whip stitch. Also sewed the bottom of the triangles together for about 6 in.

I love, love, love the result and am making two more of these as gifts!!!!
