I bought the yarn rather recklessly and cast on almost immediately. Looking forward to another colorwork sweater to wear (and so loving the colorwork at the beginning of the project; hoping the motivation sticks through the body and the sleeves).

The Left-Lifted Increase was new to me, and though it makes sense in the yoke, it took a whole round knit and unknit to figure out the chart for it. There is no description for the chart or explanation for the increase in the pattern’s notes, despite a list of abbreviations explained, so I don’t feel too bad sharing that for every LLI symbol it is referring to the second part of the stitch you’re increasing (it takes place over just one previous stitch). I’m more accustomed to seeing an increase written into one square for the row with the maneuver and in two squares the following row. Maybe that isn’t true for LLI (and it did make sense that it was in two squares, particularly when the colors were different between the first and second part of the stitch), but a quick note would have helped me to not knit and rip out a whole round. I did a little Googling before I tried it, but neglected to look at an LLI charted out.

The yarn is a delight to work with so far!
