Before starting I mapped out how many rows the sweater would be and made a chart to determine how wide to make each stripe and stripe transition. Stripes were made manually, this is not a self striping yarn. SO MANY ENDS to weave in…

Gauge was slightly smaller on sport weight yarn so I worked the 44” size to achieve 42” bust. Final bust measurement is exactly 42”.

Knit full length sleeves, started with 50 sts and increased to the number called for in the pattern, every inch starting an inch from the CO edge.

Since my row gauge was also off slightly, I added a few extra rows inbetween decrease rows for the raddle shoulders so that the shoulder depth would be more or less correct. I probably could have done with a few more rows still, but this will do just fine.

Added a bit of extra length (after the fact, ugh) at the bottom of the sweater since I had some extra purple yarn leftover and I wanted it a little bit longer. Final underarm-to-hem length is 17”.

Worked short rows around the neck instead of binding off in steps.

LOVE this damned sweater! SO MUCH. Never have I had a sweater fit me SO PERFECTLY. <3
