This was such a fun knit. The body only took a few hours to make. The hair, well that’s a different story. But he kept telling me he needed more hair.

04-02-2018

After finishing the body and one arm. My little dog came running in from outside bringing in with him the most putrid smell. He had rolled around in some other animals poop. Well I had to immediately get up and give him a bath. While doing so my kitten hopped up to my work desk and stole my gnome. The kitten thought the gnome was a fun thing to strangle and kick the living life out of. So now said gnome has quite a few snags. I have done some repairs and will continue on with this little guy and see what happens. He wants me to make him a head so he can tell me all about his traumatic experience.

The strip between the legs was pure genius. I thought it would stick out but it really blends in well. With the hole there you are really able to get the stuffing where you want it. I am having so much fun making this little guy.

My sister sold him at a silent auction to help raise money for her school.
