For Halloween, this year I decided to make a very simple scarf that’s just a series of spider webs.

The spider webs I’m creating are very loosely based off this youtube video on how to crochet spider webs.

I turned the webs into a scarf by crocheting a black, rectangular border around them. This connects them and makes them less circular (and look less like snowflakes or doilies!).

I was going to knit a spider to attach to one of the webs, but rather than buy some super thin black yarn and struggle my way through making a tiny tiny spider to be proportional to the webs, I simply attached a little plastic spider. I may add more.
