HOOK USA SIZE 5 STEEL
Do NOT count the turning chains as part of the stitch count.
Covid improving, can finally work on this again.
After row 11, I did 2 extra rows before I went on to row 12 and joined the skirt in the back, because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t too tight to get over her hips. Now it is open to the full part of her hips.
Row 14, found me with 22 clusters, not 23, and I had to finagle it to get 22. I’m thinking it will be ok, but will find out for sure in rnd 23. I’m glad this ends in the back, just incase, ha, ha.
Rnd 26: I had a little trouble following what to do, so I just put 5sc in the big loops and 3 sc in the little loops, around.
Mar 13: started sleeves but found I had trouble going around the little arm hole circle and don’t have enough skill to do it, apparently. So, just did 3 rows of sc and stopped, to make a little flared out sleeve. Will add white edging. Still need a collar and to make a slip, I hope. Covid still making me lazy.
My collar: join and ch 1, then sc in every stitch around, then ch 4 and sc in next sc of dress edge. skp 1 stitch, and ch 3 for the rest, and sc into every other stitch till end.
3-14-23 Did other sleeve and trimmed like collar.
3-15-23 Looking to make slip today, but find the white fabric is too thick and bulky, after looking for it for hours.
3:30pm I sewed 4 snaps on the back and the dress is officially finished, with 2 white satin/pearl bows on the front. All I need now is a slip, and I’m way tired to think about it.
