Notes

Since my doll Peanut is a preemie, I was afraid the regular worsted wt size would be too big on him, so used this Baby Bee (Hobby Lobby brand). It is about like the Bernat baby co-ordinates in size.

When I did row 3 of the brim, my brim wanted to bow in toward the face. Maybe because my yarn is smaller, I don’t know. But I took it back out and as I reworked it, whenever I came to the 2 stitches stitches together (increase st in previous rnd) I made 2 dc in each of them. This allowed my brim to fan out nicely. The pattern mentions that you can repeat row 3 if you want a larger brim, but mine was perfect with no extra repetitions.

Very fast and very easy, and so cute!

4th pic is front post stitch, going from right side of next post, behind it, and coming up on the left side to grab the working yarn. It will go back behind the post to reach the 2 st on the hook that are waiting to complete the dc.
