These are the panties that go with the dress! The back fits to the waist, but the front is more like a pinafore! I just put a yarn tie around the neck, and the faux ruffles on the back remind me of little summer outfits babies used to wear i in the 60s. Cutie is photo bombing!

Hem is flat. :)

Next do a zig zag to the right and catch the white line that appears in the first row of orange. Then pull every so slightly, you will see the hem flatten out and loose the curl as you pull.

First take a stitch one row away from the garter stitch hem, with needle going upward. Do not catch the garter stitch or you will have a tuck in the hem where it pulls.

The garter stitch didn't help the bottom of the dress to stay flat. As soon as it went to stockinette, the whole garter stitch hem flipped up. But I fixed it!
