Turns out to be the mystery project I found that I had no idea what it was. Luckily I had put in the thread color and knew as soon as I read this page that I had solved the mystery. Luckily the designer answered my post on her blog, and that’s how I got to lookinig at this old project and realized it was the mystery project.
Originally started Oct 6, 2022. I see I had a note where I was stuck on the designer’s blog, but as I read it, I can’t make sense of my question, because I’m talking about rows 18 & 19 and there aren’t that many rows!
OFFICIALLY RE-STARTED: Well, I begin to look at my start and realize that I’m off with 15 loops instead of 14, so rip it down to that first row, only keeping 14 loops.
I’ll probably get into trouble again on row 10 where I hit the loveknots, but I am on row 7 and will worry about 10 later, when I get there. Done with 9 rows, and stop to try it on my Bleuette, way too small. I didn’t check my gauge which refers to 7 st = 1 inch, and I only had 3/4 of an inch. So, tried it on a few gals and it looks like Tammy may be the one to fit it.
Off to study love knots. I’ve watched the Solomon’s Knot videos before, but this is the first time I felt like it made sense Maybe this video was easier to understand, I don’t know. I’m leaving the link so I or you can find it again.

July 28, 2024 I have decided that the gown will just get bigger looking if I keep adding rows and it’s rather cute at the shortie length - not short up to the top of the legs, but between there and the knees. Now she just needs a pair of undies under there, since this is an open lace! Not sure if I’ll choose to sew up the back, as this is a lot easier to put on if open in the back.
