I don’t starch my doilies, I just iron them on a double layer towel, face down, and then spray them with spray starch. I suppose it would be larger if someone blocked theirs.
It’s not really difficult stitch-wise, but the many dtr and dtr cluster stitches are hard on the hands if you try to blaze thru it. I advise just doing a few at a time, if you don’t want to ruin yourself!
I had several of those colors that were not white, but a color after that, like tan, or ecru or natural… it’s one of those.
