Adapting this beautiful pattern to fit my 8 year old. I am using measurement instructions from Ribbed Lace Bolero to arrive at starting chain.

My gauge : 5 pattern repeat = 4.3 inches
Shoulder Span = 12”
Sleeve = 4”
Width = 20”

Arm hole depth = 4”
Length = 10.5”

25 pattern repeat = 20”W
24 rows = 11” L

25X3+5 = 80ch -> Starting

Got a rectangle of 21”X11”
Planning to use 3.5 hook for the edging, so as to get a good fit on my daughter.

Added sleeve edging and body edging.

The stitch pattern is quick and delightful. Love the result.
