I made this shawl before and during my trip to Yellowstone. I started while we were planning the vacation, knit all the way through it, and finished shortly after I got home. This shawl was very special to me and I put a lot of thought into it. Although the pattern is very simple, it is vintage from right around the time Yellowstone was being explored. The colors I used all represent some part of the park. This shawl begins with Mineral at the center back, and as it widens, goes through Earth, Woodland, and Stardust. It’s beautiful, soft, squishy, and a fantastic reminder of a wonderful vacation.
