Notes

I tried all three dishcloths in this pattern, with varying results. First up, the Mitered Square Dish Cloth (white), which wasn’t very engaging to make, because it was all single crochet, but it had the interesting aspect of being crocheted diagonally. I added a little corner detail to mine to match the border. I think this was a bit more work than I would spend to make a dish cloth, but it turned out very sturdy and strong, so it might make a better sink scrubby, and be worth the effort.

The Off-Set Knot Dish Cloth (blue) was a bit more engaging, and I love the end result. The knots would make a good scrubby surface, if you can bring yourself to dirty it. Using a cotton yarn, as the pattern suggested, would make this even better suited for scrubbing.

Finally, the Textured Weave Dish Cloth (orange), which was by far the most interesting and engaging to make. The pattern stitch was a very interesting one I hadn’t encountered before that makes for texture on both sides. This makes it great for scrubbing the dishes!
