I adore this hat, so much so that I made the pattern twice! I call it my oatmeal beret, because the original pattern is raspberry beret. For the second one I made, which I call the ‘asparagus beret’, I tried the tip given in the magazine of ‘pumping up the visual interest’ by making the first six rows (and the brim) a different colour. This pattern is fun, not too complicated, and you’ll want to wear the hat every day!
